As you may have deduced from the title, I’ll be starting a C++ Tip of the Week inspired by the Google Abseil Tip of the Week, which I highly recommend reading. Very similar to Google, I’ll start off with some basic stuff and then move on to some advanced stuff that would definitely include some software engineering related material as well. At least 90% of the content I have drafted is brand new stuff but there will be some similarities to Google, which should decline over time.
As for the frequency of the tips, I can’t guarantee a tip every week, especially since I’m the only person writing. Nonetheless, I’m aiming for 2 to 3 per month or even one a week if I can amass that amount of content.
The content will all be C++ specific, but will range from C++ STL, syntax, sematics to software engineering topics such as class relationships, code struct to lower level concepts such as OS components and sometimes diving into a bit of assembly.
Please feel free to contact me with any feedback and suggesstions. All the current tips can be found here
